Yves Makabi Mungwama, is an activist and a traditionalist Pan African resident in France. Founder and president of the organisation 'Pan-Africaine SHOMARI' in 2004, he works to unite all the Africans and the descendants of Africa together, funding young entrepreneurs and voices the input of African diasporas in the development of their countries of origin and the reconstruction of Africa.
He began his career as an activist at 19 years old, he self taught himself about the history of Africa and with the creation of a research group in the organisation Shomari, began to teach culture and history of Africans and black people in the neighbourhoods.
Yves Makabi Mungwama is one the creatures of the Festival Shomari which began in 2007 and 'Day of the African woman' event which began in 2009.
CEO of 'L'entreprise Richesse Immobilière et Retraite', Yves Makabi Mungwama realized the dream of homeownership for many African and French people who were experiencing discrimination in access to housing of those who did not think they was able to be buy housing.
Yves Makabi Mungwama is known as a strong supporter of black solidarity, through his actions in Haiti after the earthquake and in DR Congo with the project of a Cleaner Environment.
For many people, Yves Makabi Mungwama, represents the future of the Congolese and African youth particularly sacrificed for foreign interests to Africa, he responds positively to the requests of young people in Kinshasa with his candidacy in the parliamentary elections in DR Congo in the district of Funa.
